All about us...
A rather nice blue bar - don't you think?
We hope you like the new look CWN - we will be making many more changes over the next few months!

It's two years since CWN started life as an Internet site to reflect life in Coventry and Warwickshire. In that time we have grown from a few pages to nearly a thousand. We have always updated our site on a regular basis, but thought that it would be nice to give CWN a new look for its second birthday!

Each section will be revamped in turn, bringing it in line with the new look. Don't worry about not being able to easily browse our new format - it has been tested on Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer (versions 2 and above). We don't use frames as we know there are still some of you out there who can't, or won't use them and we try to keep all our graphics small and quick to download for those of you who are using a modem from home.

For accessing CWN, we recommend that you use the latest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer that is available for your computer - it is completely free and has some added features above those of Netscape Navigator. You can get the latest version from www.microsoft.com/ie, or look out for a copy on computer magazine coverdisks!

CWN is managed by Ecosaurus Internet Services by members of staff in their own time! All the resources, content, time and effort put into the site are the credit of the CWN team and their band of volunteers! CWN is not funded by the local council or any other outside organisations.

As well as a redesign of the site, we have added RealAudio so you can listen to reports and comments right from your web browser. We have also set up a camera pointing out over Coventry shopping precinct that is updated every 15 seconds! To make sure that you always get the latest version of a page, make sure your web browser's cache is set to check for a new version of a page "every visit". This way you will automatically receive the latest versions of pages you visit.

Finally - let us know what you think of the new design - hope you enjoy CWN!

NEW - Make CWN your Internet Explorer Start Page!
