For the visitor with an historic eye the area offers a uniquely varied flavour of Britain from the industrial heritage of Coventry to the literary magnificence of Shakespeare's Stratford. Thrown in for good measure are the castles at Warwick and Kenilworth and the old and new cathedrals at Coventry.

Added to these tourist trail attractions are a host of museums, galleries, parks, gardens and craft centres. More than enough for every day tripper and family outing.

For the more tranquil at heart Warwickshire is gifted with some of the finest villages in the country, many steeped in history as well as beauty.
