Warwick is a picturesque town lying upon the River Avon, about 11 miles from Coventry Warwick is noted for its historic architecture and has a mixture of Tudor and 17th-century buildings. It even has its own medieval castle which was built by none other than William the Conqueror - Warwick Castle.

Though only a small town (the population is approximately of 25,000) Warwick has its own University - the University of Warwick - although rather confusingly the campus is actually nearer Coventry than Warwick, and hence straddles both counties.
