The Godiva Festival
The Godiva Festival is a free 3 day music event held annually in the War Memorial Park, Coventry. The festival is named after
Lady Godiva, famed for riding naked on horseback in Coventry in the 11th century. Over the years, many famous bands have performed at the Godiva Festival including Kasabian, Mercury Rev, Shed Seven, The Enemy and The Fratellis, and the event attracts more than 75,000 visitors each year.
Aside from the music there are plenty of other attractions including a comedy tent, a kids area, a craft market and a green area.
