I went to our lady of the assumption when it opened-Miss Shanley was the brilliant headmistress, my memorable teacher was miss Fitzgerald.

I passed the eleven plus with miss Fitzgeralds help, I went to Ullathorne Grammar school got “O” and “A” levels went on to study Hons degree physics and chemistry graduated went on to Liverpool business school.

Joined British Leyland finance got CIMA accounting qualification. Then joined Rockwell,large US manufacturer.

Rose to Vice President Finance Europe Middle East and Africa

Retired.
