"My husband has spent the last 3 weeks trying to cancel virgin"

We got a fire stick and eeo Internet and my husband tried to cancel virgin but they kept what's aping him when he spoke to him saying that they will get back to him so I cancelled the direct debit cause we haven't used virgin for months and now they send a message saying we note from our records that you have cancelled your direct debit.
