I’m adopted from St Faiths 1953

2005 I applied & received my file

I first contacted Social Services in Coventry spoke to a lady over a couple of days she tracked my full file. It contained all the information I needed and some extra things like the cot sign with the name that my mother gave me at the time which was changed once I was adopted … apparently Margaret Paton that ran the home kept letters & momentos that some mums wrote to her so some of us had those personal things attached to our files sadly some had little to nil information but I was lucky mine include enough information . GOOD LUCK and happy journey.
