"Mr Bowness"

A review of Eburne Primary School by Wycliffe Rudder written on Monday 21st of March 2022

I was at Eburne from1961 - 66 and loved it , didn't want to leave. Myself and brother were for a long time the only black kids there but never had problems. I remember Mr Bowness fondly, My favourite teacher and the fig rolls he gave out as treats , I still love them . The school dinners were the best . I remember the lollipop lady Mrs Carey as well and the farm with the chickens that we cut through on the walk to Gosford school for swimming lessons. I can go on forever . Fond memories ..
